Liu Zhang
Liu Zhang was a Chinese warlord and politician during the late Eastern Han dynasty. He governed the province of Yi Province and was known for his attempts to maintain control over the region amidst the chaos of the Three Kingdoms period. Liu Zhang's leadership was characterized by his efforts to manage local factions and maintain stability.
In 214 AD, Liu Zhang faced challenges from rival warlords, particularly Liu Bei, who sought to expand his influence. Despite initial successes, Liu Zhang ultimately lost control of Yi Province to Liu Bei, leading to his downfall and the establishment of Shu Han under Liu Bei's rule.
