Little Toe
The "Little Toe," also known as the fifth toe, is the smallest toe on the human foot. It is located on the outer edge and plays a role in balance and stability while walking or standing. Although it is not as prominent as the other toes, it contributes to the overall function of the foot.
Anatomically, the little toe consists of three bones called phalanges: the proximal, middle, and distal phalanx. It is connected to the metatarsal bone of the foot and is supported by ligaments and tendons. Despite its size, the little toe can be susceptible to injuries, such as fractures or sprains.
