Lisu
The Lisu are an ethnic group primarily found in the mountainous regions of southwestern China, as well as in parts of Myanmar and Thailand. They are known for their vibrant culture, traditional clothing, and unique language, which belongs to the Tibeto-Burman language family. The Lisu people often engage in agriculture, cultivating crops like rice and maize.
Lisu society is organized into clans, and they have rich oral traditions, including folklore and music. Their festivals, such as the Lisu New Year, are celebrated with dancing, singing, and communal feasting, reflecting their strong community bonds and cultural heritage.
