Limit Point
A limit point, also known as an accumulation point, is a concept in topology and mathematics that refers to a point in a set where every neighborhood around it contains at least one point from that set, distinct from itself. This means that you can find points from the set arbitrarily close to the limit point.
For example, in the set of real numbers, the number 0 is a limit point of the set of all negative numbers. Even though 0 is not part of the set, you can find negative numbers that get closer and closer to 0, illustrating the idea of a limit point.
