Light Properties
Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye. It travels in straight lines and can be described by its properties, such as wavelength and frequency. The wavelength determines the color of light, with shorter wavelengths appearing blue and longer wavelengths appearing red.
Light can also exhibit behaviors like reflection, refraction, and diffraction. Reflection occurs when light bounces off surfaces, while refraction is the bending of light as it passes through different materials, like glass. Diffraction involves the spreading of light waves when they encounter obstacles or openings, creating patterns of light and shadow.
