Liga ACB, also known as the Spanish Basketball League, is the top professional basketball league in Spain. Founded in 1983, it features 18 teams competing annually for the championship title. The league is known for its high level of competition and has produced many talented players who have gone on to play in the NBA and international competitions.
The season typically runs from October to June, with each team playing 34 regular-season games. The top eight teams qualify for the playoffs, culminating in the ACB Finals to determine the league champion.
