Lifthrasir
Lifthrasir is a figure from Norse mythology, specifically mentioned in the Prose Edda. He is known as one of the two humans who survive the cataclysmic events of Ragnarök, the end of the world in Norse belief. Alongside Lifthrasir, a female counterpart named Líf also survives, and together they are said to repopulate the Earth after its destruction.
The name "Lifthrasir" translates to "the one who awakens to life." This reflects the theme of rebirth and renewal in Norse mythology, as Lifthrasir and Líf symbolize hope and the continuation of humanity following the chaos of Ragnarök.
