Licensure Examination for Teachers
The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) is a standardized test in the Philippines designed to assess the competency of aspiring teachers. It evaluates knowledge in various subjects, including pedagogy, professional education, and specific teaching fields. Passing the LET is a requirement for individuals who wish to obtain a teaching license and work in public and private schools.
Administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the LET is typically held twice a year. The examination consists of multiple-choice questions and is divided into two parts: the general education and the professional education sections. Successful candidates receive a license, allowing them to pursue a teaching career.
