Libyan government
The Libyan government is the political authority in Libya, a country located in North Africa. Following the fall of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, Libya has experienced political instability and conflict, leading to the establishment of multiple governing bodies. The current government structure includes a Presidential Council and a House of Representatives, which aim to unify the country and manage its affairs.
Despite efforts to create a stable government, Libya faces challenges such as ongoing violence, rival factions, and economic difficulties. International organizations, including the United Nations, have been involved in facilitating dialogue and promoting peace in the region to support the establishment of a unified and effective government.
