Lhotse Middle is a mountain in the Himalayas, specifically part of the Lhotse massif, which includes the famous Lhotse and Mount Everest. It stands at an elevation of 8,410 meters (27,605 feet), making it the third-highest peak in the world. Lhotse Middle is often considered a subpeak of Lhotse, situated between Lhotse and Lhotse Shar.
The mountain was first climbed in 2001, and its ascent is less popular compared to its higher neighbors. Climbers often face challenging conditions due to the harsh weather and technical routes, making it a less frequented destination for mountaineers compared to Everest and Lhotse.
