Lezgian language
The Lezgian language is a Northeast Caucasian language primarily spoken by the Lezgins, an ethnic group in the Caucasus region. It is mainly found in southern Dagestan in Russia and parts of Azerbaijan. Lezgian is part of the Lezgic language family, which includes several related languages.
Lezgian has a rich phonetic system and is known for its complex consonant clusters. The language uses a subject-object-verb (SOV) word order and has a variety of dialects, reflecting the diverse communities of its speakers. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote the language amid globalization.
