Letter Grades
Letter grades are a common way to evaluate student performance in schools. They typically range from A to F, with A representing excellent work and F indicating failure. Each letter corresponds to a specific range of percentage scores, such as A for 90-100%, B for 80-89%, and so on. This system helps teachers communicate how well students understand the material.
In addition to individual assignments, letter grades can also be used to calculate a student's overall grade point average (GPA). The GPA is often used for college admissions and reflects a student's academic performance over time. Letter grades provide a standardized method for assessing and comparing student achievement.
