Lesser Apes
Lesser apes are a group of primates that include species such as the gibbon and siamang. They are smaller than great apes and are known for their long arms and agile movements, which help them swing through trees. Lesser apes primarily inhabit the forests of Southeast Asia and are highly adapted to a life in the treetops.
These animals are social and often live in family groups. They communicate using a variety of vocalizations, including songs that can be heard over long distances. Lesser apes primarily eat fruits, leaves, and insects, playing an important role in their ecosystems by aiding in seed dispersal.
