Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area
The Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area is located in Sichuan Province, China. It features the world’s largest stone statue of a sitting Buddha, carved during the Tang Dynasty. The statue stands at 71 meters tall and overlooks the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qinjiang rivers.
