Lemuridae
Lemuridae is a family of primates known as lemurs, which are native to the island of Madagascar. This family includes several species, such as the ring-tailed lemur and the black-and-white ruffed lemur. Lemurs are characterized by their large eyes, long tails, and social behavior, often living in groups called troops.
Lemurs are primarily arboreal, spending most of their time in trees. They are known for their unique vocalizations and scent-marking behaviors. As a result of habitat loss and hunting, many lemur species are currently endangered, making conservation efforts crucial for their survival.
