Lemon Sharks
Lemon sharks are a species of shark found primarily in shallow coastal waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. They are named for their yellow-brown coloration, which helps them blend into sandy ocean floors. Lemon sharks can grow up to 10 feet long and are known for their social behavior, often forming groups called schools.
These sharks primarily feed on fish, crustaceans, and other small marine animals. They are generally not considered dangerous to humans, although they can exhibit aggressive behavior if provoked. Lemon sharks play an important role in maintaining the balance of their marine ecosystems.
