Leka I
Leka I was the last king of Albania, reigning from 1928 until 1939. He was born on September 5, 1939, and was a member of the Zogu dynasty. His rule ended when Italy invaded Albania, leading to the establishment of a puppet regime.
After his reign, Leka I lived in exile for many years, primarily in Greece and France. He returned to Albania in the 1990s after the fall of communism but did not regain any official power. Leka I passed away on November 30, 2011, in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
