League of Communists of Croatia
The League of Communists of Croatia was a political party in Croatia, part of the broader League of Communists in former Yugoslavia. Established in 1937, it played a significant role in the political landscape of Croatia during the socialist era. The party aimed to promote communist ideology and was influential in the governance of Croatia until the early 1990s.
With the breakup of Yugoslavia, the League of Communists of Croatia transformed into the Social Democratic Party of Croatia in 1990. This shift marked a transition from a one-party system to a multi-party democracy, reflecting the changing political climate in the region after the fall of communism.
