Leadership Practices Inventory
The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) is a tool designed to assess and improve leadership skills. Developed by James Kouzes and Barry Posner, it measures five key practices that effective leaders exhibit: modeling the way, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act, and encouraging the heart. The LPI helps individuals identify their strengths and areas for growth in leadership.
The inventory consists of self-assessments and peer assessments, allowing leaders to gain feedback from colleagues. By using the LPI, organizations can foster a culture of leadership development, ultimately enhancing team performance and achieving strategic goals.
