Laz Language
The Laz Language is a member of the South Caucasian language family, primarily spoken by the Laz people in northeastern Turkey and parts of Georgia. It is considered a minority language and has its own unique grammar and vocabulary, distinct from the dominant Turkish language in the region.
Laz is primarily an oral language, though there are some written forms using the Latin and Cyrillic alphabets. Efforts to preserve and promote the language have increased in recent years, as the Laz community seeks to maintain their cultural identity and heritage amidst globalization.
