Latvian parliament
The Latvian Parliament, known as the Saeima, is the legislative body of Latvia. It consists of 100 members who are elected for a four-year term. The Saeima is responsible for making laws, approving the budget, and overseeing the government.
The Saeima meets in Riga, the capital of Latvia, and operates in a unicameral system, meaning there is only one legislative chamber. Members of the Saeima represent various political parties and work to address issues affecting the country and its citizens.
