Lattice Point
A lattice point is a point in a coordinate system where both the x and y coordinates are integers. For example, the point (2, 3) is a lattice point because both 2 and 3 are whole numbers. Lattice points are often used in geometry and number theory to study shapes, patterns, and relationships between numbers.
In a two-dimensional space, lattice points form a grid-like pattern. Each point can be represented as (m, n), where m and n are integers. Lattice points are important in various fields, including computer graphics, crystallography, and combinatorics, as they help in analyzing structures and solving mathematical problems.
