Lansdowne Road
Lansdowne Road is a historic sports stadium located in Dublin, Ireland. It was primarily used for rugby and soccer matches and has a seating capacity of around 50,000. The stadium opened in 1872 and has undergone several renovations over the years, making it a significant venue for both local and international events.
In 2007, Lansdowne Road was replaced by the Aviva Stadium, which was built on the same site. The new stadium features a modern design and improved facilities while retaining the legacy of Lansdowne Road as a key location in Irish sports history.
