Land Breezes
A land breeze is a type of wind that occurs at night when the land cools down faster than the sea. As the land loses heat, the air above it becomes cooler and denser. This cooler air then moves toward the warmer air over the water, creating a gentle breeze that flows from the land to the sea.
Land breezes are most common in coastal areas where there is a significant temperature difference between the land and the ocean. They typically occur during the night and early morning, providing a refreshing change in air and influencing local weather patterns, such as those experienced in coastal regions.
