Lanín Volcano
Lanín Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in the Andes mountain range, straddling the border between Argentina and Chile. It rises to an elevation of 3,776 meters (12,389 feet) and is part of the Lanín National Park, which is known for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife.
The volcano last erupted in 1909, and its symmetrical cone shape makes it a prominent feature in the region. Lanín Volcano is popular among hikers and climbers, offering various trails that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lakes, including Lake Lácar and Lake Huechulafquen.
