Lake Argentino
Lake Argentino is the largest lake in Argentina, located in the southern region of Patagonia. It covers an area of approximately 1,500 square kilometers and is known for its stunning turquoise waters, which are fed by the melting glaciers of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field.
The lake is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, including the Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visitors can enjoy activities such as boating and fishing, while also witnessing the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier, which flows into the lake and is famous for its dynamic ice calving events.
