Lagaan
“Lagaan” is a 2001 Indian film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Set in the late 19th century during British colonial rule, it tells the story of a group of villagers in India who challenge their British rulers to a game of cricket to avoid paying high taxes, known as Lagaan.
