Labia Minora
The labia minora are two thin folds of skin located within the outer folds of the vulva, which is part of the female reproductive system. They are situated on either side of the vaginal opening and can vary in size, shape, and color among individuals. The labia minora play a role in protecting the internal structures of the vagina and urethra.
These structures are rich in blood vessels and nerve endings, contributing to sexual arousal and sensitivity. The labia minora also help to maintain moisture in the vaginal area and can change in appearance due to hormonal fluctuations, age, or childbirth.
