The human reproductive system is a complex network of organs and structures that enable reproduction. In females, it includes the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and vagina, while in males, it consists of the testes, vas deferens, prostate gland, and penis. These organs work together to produce and transport gametes (sperm and eggs) and facilitate fertilization.
During reproduction, a male's sperm can fertilize a female's egg, leading to the development of an embryo. The female reproductive system supports the growth of the embryo during pregnancy, while the male reproductive system is responsible for producing and delivering sperm.
