LCD displays
LCD displays, or Liquid Crystal Displays, are a type of screen technology commonly used in televisions, computer monitors, and smartphones. They work by using liquid crystals that change alignment when an electric current is applied, allowing light to pass through or be blocked. This process creates images by controlling the light and color displayed on the screen.
One of the main advantages of LCD displays is their energy efficiency compared to older technologies like CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) displays. They are also thinner and lighter, making them easier to mount on walls or carry around. LCD technology has become a standard in modern visual devices due to its clarity and versatility.
