Lütfi Kırdar
Lütfi Kırdar was a prominent Turkish politician and statesman, born on March 24, 1887, in Istanbul. He played a significant role in the early years of the Turkish Republic, serving as the mayor of Istanbul from 1943 to 1950. Kırdar was known for his efforts in urban development and modernization during his tenure.
