Lúcia Santos
Lúcia Santos is a prominent figure in the history of Fátima, Portugal, known for her role as one of the three shepherd children who reported visions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. Born on March 28, 1907, she was just 10 years old when she and her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, began experiencing these extraordinary events, which attracted worldwide attention.
After the apparitions, Lúcia became a nun and took the name Sister Lúcia of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart. She dedicated her life to spreading the messages of Our Lady of Fátima, emphasizing themes of prayer, penance, and devotion. Lúcia passed away on February 13, 2005, leaving a lasting legacy.
