Kyudo
Kyudo is the traditional Japanese art of archery, emphasizing precision, discipline, and spiritual development. Practitioners, known as kyudoka, use a longbow called a yumi to shoot arrows at a target, focusing on both technique and mental concentration.
The practice of Kyudo is often seen as a form of meditation, where the process of drawing the bow and releasing the arrow is as important as hitting the target. It is rooted in Japanese culture and philosophy, promoting harmony between body and mind while fostering respect for oneself and others.
