The Kosovo Superleague is the top professional football league in Kosovo. Established in 2011, it features several clubs competing for the championship title each season. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kosovo First League, the second tier of football in the country. The league consists of 10 teams that play each other in a round-robin format. Each team plays a total of 36 matches during the season, with points awarded for wins and draws. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion of the Kosovo Superleague.
