Kosovo First League
The Kosovo First League is the second tier of professional football in Kosovo. Established in 2011, it features clubs competing for promotion to the top division, the Superliga. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation, allowing teams to move between the two levels based on their performance each season.
The league typically consists of around 10 to 12 teams, with each club playing home and away matches. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion and earns promotion to the Superliga, while the lowest-ranked teams face relegation to lower divisions.
