Korean Geography
Korea is located in East Asia, bordered by the Yellow Sea to the west, the Sea of Japan to the east, and the Korean Strait to the south. The Korean Peninsula is divided into two countries: North Korea and South Korea. The landscape features mountains, valleys, and coastal plains, with the Taebaek Mountains running down the eastern side.
The climate in Korea varies by season, with cold winters and hot, humid summers. Major rivers include the Han River in the south and the Yalu River in the north. The country is also home to several islands, including Jeju Island, known for its volcanic landscapes and tourism.
