Taebaek Mountains
The Taebaek Mountains are a major mountain range located in eastern South Korea. Stretching approximately 500 kilometers, they form a natural barrier between the eastern coastal region and the western plains. The mountains are also significant for their geological features, including granite peaks and deep valleys. The highest peak, Hallasan, reaches an elevation of 1,947 meters.
