Korah
Korah was a biblical figure mentioned in the Book of Numbers in the Hebrew Bible. He was a Levite who led a rebellion against Moses and Aaron, challenging their leadership and the priestly authority of the Aaronic priesthood. Korah, along with his followers, questioned why they should not have equal status among the Israelites.
The rebellion resulted in a dramatic confrontation, where God demonstrated His support for Moses and Aaron. As a consequence, the ground opened up and swallowed Korah and his followers, serving as a warning against dissent and disobedience within the Israelite community.
