Konrad Kujau
Konrad Kujau was a German painter and forger, best known for creating fake paintings attributed to famous artists like Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh. Born on June 27, 1931, in Stuttgart, he gained notoriety in the 1980s for his skillful forgeries, which deceived collectors and galleries.
Kujau's most infamous work was a series of forged paintings that he sold for millions of dollars.
