Koko Crater
Koko Crater is a volcanic tuff cone located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. It rises about 1,208 feet (368 meters) above sea level and is part of the larger Koko Head region. The crater was formed approximately 32,000 years ago and is known for its unique geological features and diverse plant life.
The area surrounding Koko Crater includes the Koko Head District Park, which offers hiking trails and scenic views. One popular trail leads to the summit, where visitors can enjoy panoramic vistas of the Hanauma Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Koko Crater is also home to the Koko Crater Botanical Garden, showcasing various tropical plants.
