Kobudo
Kobudo is a traditional Okinawan martial art that focuses on the use of various weapons. It originated from the need for self-defense and agricultural tools, which were adapted into fighting techniques. Practitioners learn to wield weapons such as the bo (staff), nunchaku, tonfa, and sai, among others.
Training in Kobudo emphasizes discipline, coordination, and respect for the weapons and their history. It is often practiced alongside karate, as both arts share similar philosophies and techniques. Through rigorous practice, students develop physical skills and mental focus, contributing to their overall martial arts proficiency.
