Kleitos the Historian
Kleitos the Historian was an ancient Greek writer known for his works on the history of the Macedonian kingdom. He lived during the 4th century BCE and is often associated with the court of Philip II of Macedon, the father of Alexander the Great. His writings contributed to the understanding of the political and military events of his time.
Although much of Kleitos's work has been lost, he is recognized for his critical approach to historical events. His accounts provided insights into the relationships between Macedonia and other Greek city-states, as well as the rise of Alexander the Great.
