Kizza Besigye
Kizza Besigye is a prominent Ugandan politician and a key figure in the country's opposition movement. He was born on April 22, 1956, and served as a medical doctor before entering politics. Besigye has run for the presidency of Uganda multiple times, challenging long-time leader Yoweri Museveni and advocating for democratic reforms and human rights.
Besigye is a founding member of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), a political party in Uganda. He has faced numerous arrests and legal challenges due to his political activities, which have drawn both national and international attention to issues of governance and democracy in Uganda.
