Kizza Besigye is a prominent Ugandan politician and a key figure in the country's opposition movement. He was born on April 22, 1956, and served as a medical doctor before entering politics. Besigye has run for the presidency of Uganda multiple times, challenging long-time leader Yoweri Museveni and advocating for democratic reforms and human rights. Besigye is a founding member of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), a political party in Uganda.
