Kisei Main Line
The Kisei Main Line is a railway line in Japan, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central). It runs along the eastern coast of Honshu, connecting Nagoya in the north to Katsuura in the south, covering a distance of approximately 300 kilometers. The line serves both local and express trains, providing access to various cities and scenic coastal areas.
Opened in stages between 1923 and 1964, the Kisei Main Line plays a vital role in regional transportation. It features several notable stations, including Tsu and Shingu, and offers travelers beautiful views of the Ise Bay and surrounding landscapes.
