Kirov-class
The Kirov-class is a series of nuclear-powered guided missile cruisers developed by the Soviet Union. These ships are known for their large size, heavy armament, and advanced technology, making them some of the most powerful surface combatants in the world. The class includes four ships, with the lead ship, Kirov, launched in 1973.
Designed for multi-role capabilities, Kirov-class cruisers can engage in anti-air, anti-surface, and anti-submarine warfare. They are equipped with a variety of weapons systems, including P-500 Bazalt anti-ship missiles and S-300 air defense missiles, allowing them to operate effectively in diverse combat scenarios.
