Kingdom of Dalmatia
The Kingdom of Dalmatia was a historical region located along the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, primarily in present-day Croatia. It was part of various empires and kingdoms throughout its history, including the Roman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The kingdom was known for its picturesque coastline, medieval towns, and cultural heritage.
Established as a separate kingdom in the 19th century, the Kingdom of Dalmatia was officially recognized in 1815. It played a significant role in the region's politics and economy until the end of World War I, when it became part of the newly formed Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes.
