King Wang So
King Wang So, also known as King Gwangjong of Goryeo, was the fourth king of the Goryeo Dynasty in Korea, reigning from 949 to 975. He is known for consolidating power and implementing significant reforms that strengthened the central government. His reign marked a period of stability and growth for the dynasty.
Wang So was the son of Wang Geon, the founder of the Goryeo Dynasty. He is often remembered for his efforts to reduce the influence of the aristocracy and promote meritocracy within the government. His policies laid the groundwork for future developments in Korean history.
