King Vasudeva
King Vasudeva is a significant figure in Hindu mythology, known primarily as the father of Lord Krishna. He was a member of the Yadava dynasty and played a crucial role in the epic narrative of the Mahabharata. Vasudeva is often depicted as a wise and virtuous king who faced numerous challenges during his reign.
Vasudeva's most notable contribution was his unwavering support for Dharma, or righteousness. He is celebrated for his efforts to protect his son, Krishna, from the tyrannical rule of Kansa, his brother-in-law. This protective nature ultimately led to the fulfillment of prophecies and the restoration of justice in the kingdom.
