King Tabinshwehti
King Tabinshwehti was a significant ruler of the Toungoo Dynasty in Burma (now Myanmar) during the 16th century. He reigned from 1530 to 1550 and is best known for his military campaigns that expanded the kingdom's territory, uniting various regions under his rule. His leadership helped establish Burma as a powerful state in Southeast Asia.
Tabinshwehti is also recognized for his efforts in promoting trade and cultural exchanges. He founded the city of Pegu (now Bago) and encouraged the construction of religious monuments, including the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. His reign marked a period of prosperity and cultural development in Burma.
