King Shahryar
King Shahryar is a fictional character from the collection of Middle Eastern folk tales known as One Thousand and One Nights, or Arabian Nights. In his anger, he marries a new woman each day and executes her the following morning to prevent further betrayal.
The story of King Shahryar is intertwined with that of Scheherazade, a clever storyteller who volunteers to marry him. To save herself, she tells captivating stories each night, leaving them unfinished to intrigue the king and delay her execution, ultimately transforming his perspective on love and trust.
